After studying in her hometown of Toulon, Céline Lagoutière went on to perfect her talent at the Conservatoire à rayonnement régional de Paris. She followed this by studying under Pavel Vernikov at the Conservatoire National Supérieur Musique et Danse de Lyon, graduating with a distinction in chamber music in 1999, and an advanced diploma in violin with distinction in 2000.
In 1997 to 1999, she followed string quartet master classes with Ravel quartet, Debussy quartet and Martin Lovett from Amadeus Quartet, performing in numerous concerts in France and abroad.
She is regularly asked to play with the Orchestre National de Lyon, Opéra de Lyon and the Symphonie Loire Forez ensemble in a chamber music formation.
She is passionate about contemporary music and champions this repertoire alongside the EOC, which she joined in 2004.
