Didier Muhleisen began playing horn under Roger Abraham, before going on to study at the Conservatoire de Strasbourg. He then continued his studies at the Conservatoire du 10ème arrondissement de Paris under Michel Garcin-Marrou, as well as several summer workshops with Daniel Bourgue.
He joined the Ensemble Orchestral Contemporain as a horn player in 1992. Since then, he has played concerts with Contrechamps in Geneva, as well as concerts and events with the Conservatoire de Saint-Étienne’s brass department.
He teaches horn and chamber music at the Conservatoire à rayonnement régional Jules Massenet de Saint-Étienne.
